Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale our cloud infrastructure platform. You'll work on distributed systems, API design, and help shape our technical architecture.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and Go
• Work on our core infrastructure APIs and orchestration systems
• Collaborate with the team to define technical architecture and standards
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews
• Participate in on-call rotations for production systems

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or Go
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote team

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Knowledge of networking concepts (VPNs, load balancing, DNS)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Previous experience at a cloud infrastructure company
