Managed FreshRSS_

Your news feeds, read in your favourite app

FreshRSS is a feed aggregator for RSS and Atom, with multiple users, filters, labels and an API that works with popular mobile reader apps.

From £5 a month, VAT included. No server to run.

  • HTTPS and your own domain
  • Health checks and restarts
  • Security updates underneath
  • Replacing Feedly
  • Reading on your phone
  • Sharing with family
  • Filtering noisy feeds

First steps

  1. Sign in. When the app is live, open it in the console and choose Reveal admin password; it is shown once, so save it in your password manager. Then sign in at your-name.apps.fresh.dev/i/.
  2. Add feeds, or import an OPML file under Subscription management.
  3. Set an API password in your profile: mobile reader apps sign in with it, not your main password.
  4. Add users for family or colleagues; each gets their own feeds.

Connect a mobile reader

Apps such as NetNewsWire, Reeder, ReadYou and FeedMe sign in with the Google Reader API:

Server: https://your-name.apps.fresh.dev/api/greader.php
Username: admin
Password: your API password

Apps that use the Fever API connect at /api/fever.php instead.

Good to know

  • Feeds refresh twice an hour.

The FreshRSS project
