- Sign in at /ghost/ and change your sign-in email in your Ghost profile.
- Add SMTP details in the app’s Email section: staff invites, password resets and member sign-in links need them.

- To send newsletters, connect your own Mailgun account under Settings › Newsletters; to take payments, connect Stripe under Settings › Membership.
Use your posts elsewhere
Create a custom integration under Settings › Integrations to get a Content API key, then read your published posts from any site or app:
curl "https://your-name.apps.fresh.dev/ghost/api/content/posts/?key=YOUR_CONTENT_API_KEY"
Good to know
- Without SMTP, Ghost’s emails fail rather than being sent.
- Ghost sends bulk newsletters only through Mailgun.
- Ghost’s social web (ActivityPub) features are turned off.
