Managed Listmonk_

Newsletters and mailing lists, sent through your own SMTP

listmonk is a fast newsletter and mailing-list manager: subscribers and lists, templates, campaigns and analytics, sending through your own SMTP provider.

From £5 a month, VAT included. No server to run.

  • HTTPS and your own domain
  • Health checks and restarts
  • Security updates underneath
  • Newsletters
  • Product announcements
  • Large mailing lists
  • Transactional campaigns

First steps

  1. Sign in. When the app is live, open it in the console and choose Reveal admin password; it is shown once, so save it in your password manager. Then sign in at your-name.apps.fresh.dev/admin/login.
  2. Add SMTP details in the console: listmonk needs them to send anything.
  3. Create a list and import your subscribers from a CSV file.
  4. Make a list public to give it a subscription form at /subscription/form.
  5. Send yourself a test campaign before the real one.

Add subscribers from your site

Create an API user under Admin › Users, then add sign-ups from your own forms or app:

curl -u "api_user:your_token" \
  -X POST https://your-name.apps.fresh.dev/api/subscribers \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"email": "ada@example.com", "name": "Ada", "lists": [1]}'

Good to know

  • Your SMTP provider’s sending limits apply to campaigns.

The Listmonk project
