First steps

  1. Sign in. When the app is live, open it in the console and choose Reveal admin password; it is shown once, so save it in your password manager. Then sign in at your-name.apps.fresh.dev/login.
  2. Create your first project and rename the columns to match how you work.
  3. Add users yourself under Users; there is no self-registration.
  4. Add SMTP details in the console for task notifications.

Script it with JSON-RPC

Kanboard has a JSON-RPC API. Copy the API token from Settings › API and call it with the user jsonrpc:

Good to know

  • Plugins can’t be installed from the web interface.
