First steps
- Sign in. When the app is live, open it in the console and choose Reveal admin password; it is shown once, so save it in your password manager. Then sign in at your-name.apps.fresh.dev/login. Username admin
- Create your first project and switch between list, board, Gantt and table views.
- Add SMTP details in the console for reminders and due-date emails.
- Share a project with a link share when someone else needs to see or edit it.
Sync with your calendar
Create a CalDAV token under Settings › CalDAV, then add an account in your calendar app:
https://your-name.apps.fresh.dev/dav/principals/admin/Tasks with due dates then show up beside your events.
Good to know
- Open sign-up is turned off, and Vikunja’s free edition has no screen for adding accounts, so it suits one person; use link shares to work with others.
- The free edition has no administrator role; the admin account is an ordinary user.
The Vikunja project
Vikunja is open-source software, licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later. Fresh runs version 2.7.0 of the upstream release for you. Fresh is not affiliated with the Vikunja project; for questions about the software itself, its documentation and community are the best place to start.
